Cellular.. Movie review

Today I went out for a family function and came back in the afternoon and slept due to a long drive. When I woke up I thought of watching this little old movie... Cellular.

Story: It is a 2004 movie about dirty cops kidnapping a family to recover a videotape containing visuals of some crime they did earlier.

Well, there are few things I liked about this movie. It is a roller-coaster thriller from start to end. Though it is an average budget movie, the stunts are really good and have its lighter moments in it. (which I liked). One thing which sucked is, Music. Imagine for a stupid melodramatic crap song as background score when the killer cop if searching the hero on the terrace with ticking heart-beat. OMG, how the hell the music director thought that piece of music for that. Instead he could have left the visual without any background score. It would have rather pleasant. Otherwise, the movie is good. It has got JasonStathom (hero of Transporter movie series) but in a villain role.
If you get a chance to get hold of this DVD, don't miss to watch it. It is really good movie to watch.
PS: I heard that they made a movie in tamil (Vegam - starred by S.Ve.Sekhar's son) based on this movie.. I have not seen that movie.
